How condensing technology helps you save
Condensing technology not only utilizes the heat from the combustion of gas, but also the unused heat that would escape up the chimney with a conventional heating system. Condensing boilers can achieve excellent efficiency of up to 98% by extracting the majority of the heat contained in the flue gases and converting it into additional heating energy. This helps you to save money and reduce your carbon footprint.
To achieve this, Viessmann condensing boilers are equipped with corrosion-resistant, stainless steel heat exchangers, which cool the flue gases before they are routed into the chimney. By doing this, the water vapor contained within the gasses is deliberately condensed, and the additional heat released is transferred into the heating system.
